Jockey's Ridge

Jockey's Ridge is the largest natural sand dune in the eastern United States. It covers over 400 acres and shifts constantly with the blowing winds. It is located in Nags Head, North Carolina, just off of US158. It is a favorite location for hang gliders and kite flyers, and is not far from the site of the Wright Brothers first flight.
